Because the producers of the show think that someone who can make a video of them selfs wearing a 'silly costums in a silly location' have star quality and will intertaining, yet every year we end up with all these lunatics on our screens who have nothing to offer other than a pink coloured beard to look at for 3 months.

That was some real 'sad loser' behavior if I ever saw it.
I am taking a stand against hate-inciting propaganda by refusing to donate any more money and time to the instigators (Ch.4) and so be it.
Maybe you should consider taking any sort of active stand against hatred rather than encouraging it?
